Vera's POV

I hadn't heard from my parents nor Lexi for the past three weeks and I was already getting home sick.

I have been seeing a little too much of Cyrus, more than I was comfortable with and oddly enough Aldonis has been really busy lately. Honestly I believed he was intentionally ignoring me.

I was grateful to have gotten to know the head chef and my personal maid Selina.

She was just the cutest and had the most mesmerising blue eyes you would ever see.I didn't fail to compliment her on it as much as I could but as usual she blushed it off.
