Chapter 68 ~ Facing the past

“Hello, Natalie Blue Watson,” Zane said calmly.

“What do you want?” Natalie snapped, shocked that her new boss was standing outside her door.

Zane was about 6 feet tall with very handsome features. He had brown eyes and black hair which was cut shorter in the sides and left the middle longer. His smile was his weapon and every woman fell for it.

Well, every woman except Natalie, who only saw a rich brat in him.

“Won’t you ask me to come in?”

“No! You’re a stranger and might harm my aunty!” Daisy said standing in front of Natalie and holding her knees as if shielding her from harm.

“You heard the child. You’re scaring us! What do you want?”

Zane looked down but Daisy had her back to him so he didn’t pay much attention to her face. He stepped forward and squatted to speak to Daisy,

“Hi, princess. I promise I just want to have a word with your aunty.” He said softly.

Daisy turned and Zane almost lost his balance. “She looks exactly like-”

“Just say what you’re here for.” Natalie cut
