“What?” Everyone turned to face the door.

“I don’t think the people sitting in this room are deaf,” Ethan said in a mocking tone.

“Mr. Sinclair!” Mr. Gilbert asked in a shocked voice but quickly recovered and coughed to mask his surprise, “Please, come in and take a seat!”
