Chapter 74 ~ It wasn't me

“Are you being serious?” Natalie asked in a shocked voice as she sat next to Rose.

Two weeks had passed since she was abducted and she had recovered from the physical pain. She immediately returned to her home in the small town away from the city for fear of Ethan seeing Caleb and Daisy.

“You can imagine, the audacity!” Rose sneered.

“Girl, why didn't you call me and I would have kicked him out?” Natalie said while smacking her fist into her hand making Rose laugh.

A soft knock on the door made both of them turn and a smile stretched Rose’s face when she saw Mason. He was looking handsome in black pants and a beige sweater. His Asian features served him like a superpower because he didn’t seem to age.

“Am I disturbing a girls’s chat?” He asked with a smile making Natalie roll her eyes as she stood,

“Girl’s chat? Really? I need to teach you better pick up line!” She teased as she walked out.
