Chapter 38: Surprised gift

"Hi, Lerisa," a familiar deep male voice spoke to her.

"Hello, who is this?" Lerisa impatiently asked, not recognizing the phone number.

"This is Remy Creed. How are you doing today, beautiful?" Remy's deep voice resonated through the phone.

"I've told you to stop calling me. Can't you understand that?" Lerisa asked, sounding irritated.

"I understand, but not when you refuse to understand me," Remy said, trying to keep his tone calm.

He liked Lerisa and was ready to marry her if having a relationship was a problem. He wanted her as his wife. She was beautiful, humble, down-to-earth, and the kind of woman he wanted by his side and as the mother of his children.
