Chapter 34: Looking sad again

Lerisa walked into the living room and saw only Martha there.

"Hi, big sis, welcome home," Martha greeted as soon as Lerisa entered.

Lerisa smiled and walked towards the dining table to join Martha, feeling famished, as she hadn't had anything to eat or drink despite going out to the café.

"What did you prepare for dinner?" Lerisa inquired, taking a seat on one of the dining chairs.

"Yummy food," Martha replied with a sweet smile, knowing she was a great chef. "I made fried rice with chicken pepper soup and some fruit salad for dinner. How was your date?"

"I didn't go out on any date, Martha. I only went outside to look around the café."

"That's still fun. So, who did you meet with, big sis? You know you're pretty, so there's no way you wouldn't have many admirers out there," Martha teased.
