Chapter 4

                        (MELISSA'S POV)

Sitting down in an object the leaf boy called a bed, I glanced around the room and smiled. Everywhere is so beautiful and I love the smell oozing out from what he gave me to put on.

 I kept on sniffing it but I couldn't get enough of the leaf boy's scent on the object he gave me. He called it clothes I guess.

 "Oh mother!!!! I am in human's world and living the life they deprived you of" I thought wishing she was alive and wasn't dead.

Remembering what happened after he pushed me out in the dark, I sighed. I sat down outside his house thinking of how I would survive and my body was chilling,I felt I would freeze at any moment.

I sat there for a while and when I saw a light flickering and coming closer to me,I ran under a box that he later called a car and hid. 

What if the light was coming from Atlantica? What is the King sent his guards to look for me and bring me back after he found out I left" Numerous what ifs flew to my mind but I shrugged them off.

I don't think he found out because he already set me free and doesn't care about where I stay in Atlantica and if I survived or not. I laid on the object you called bed and dozed off feeling fulfilled.

                       (ASHER'S POV)

I got to the company and saw my mother waiting for me with her b**ch of a fiancee in the reception.

"Ahhhhhh!!!!! I groan inwardly and since they haven't noticed me,I took another direction I went to the meeting room the investors were already sitting there waiting for me. I entered and they all stood up to greet me I don't care about their so-called greeting.

Let the meeting commence, Philip my assistant said out loud.

"Mum are you sure he will come today or did he travel? look at the time and he is not yet here and he wasn't at the estate yesterday night either" I said frowning and Asher's step mother patted me the shoulder. Don't worry he will show up, I'm sure he's not someone who misses work and maybe he was stucked in something moreover I'm sure he didn't travel remember we saw his assistant on our way and Asher doesn't go on any business trip without him" she said and I frowned more.

 "What if he went on a pleasure trip? I asked pouting and she laughed out loud "Hahahaha can you be more funny my son doesn't leave his business and tons of companies just to go on a pleasure trip; He is a workaholic and you know that" she said and I nodded still not convinced.

My name is Nelson Chloe and I am Asher's fianceé. Well he doesn't consider me that but I don't care as long as his mother promise me that I will end up with him, I will continue sticking to him until he falls for me.

 He is lucky I haven't seen him with any other girl otherwise I would have killed her. Yes that is how far I can go to get what is mine and clear whatever part that is blocking it but Asher doesn't give two s**** about women and that is a plus bonus for me.

Asher you can run all you want but I tell you this you are mine and nobody not even you can stop me from loving you I said out loud and his mother grinned and patted my hair. "That is the spirit girl" she said and I smiled.

Few hours later, I was already getting tired of sitting in the damn reception with the receptionist eyes boring holes on me. I was about to tell mother that we should go and come back later when I looked up and saw Asher coming out of the elevator. I quickly rose up adjusted my shirt to show my b**bs and walked up to him smiling and hugged him.

 Baby where have you been? "Mother and I have been waiting here for hours" I said pouting my lips.

 "Who told you to wait for me? did I tell you I need you or anybody to wait for me here" he said and pushed my hands away and walked to his mother who was already asleep on the couch.

 Well whatever you want to do, do it now because soon we would get married I thought smiling and also headed to the couch and sat down.

           (ASHER'S POV)

The meeting with the investors took some time and I was intentionally prolonging it because I wanted my stepmother to be gone before I come out but I would say I wasn't so lucky as the so-called fianceé of a girl quickly hugged me immediately I came out of the elevator.

 I groaned imagining myself punching her ugly face, I pulled her away and she smiled I found out that her smile wasn't as pure as the Melissa lady in my beach house. I couldn't stop thinking of that lady and comparing her to this ugly Chloe.

 Is it the impeccable perky milky boobs that she bares and her round and plump ass that I'm sure will be as soft as her body.

"Ahhhhh!!!!! Asher are you fantasizing and insane girl? My sub conscience asked and I blink my eyes rapidly.

Chloe smiled and touched me "Baby where have you been? Mother and I have been waiting for you for hours now" she said and I frowned. "And who told you to wait for me" I said and pushed her hands away and she gave out that her annoying ugly smile.

I moved past her to my mother who was already asleep on the couch in the reception.

 "Look at what she is going through because she wants me to settle down" I groaned and tapped her she blinked and gently rose up.

 "My son you are here what kept you so long" she asked and I sighed. "Mum I was in a meeting with investors" I said and she nodded.

 "Mum go home and sleep you look tired" I told her and she shook her head and pointed at ChIoe.

"Son I came here with her to work things out with you" she said and I frowned.

Not now Mum I have an appointment to catch up with and the client is already waiting for me I told her and just like God wanted to help me, Phillip came in immediately and I signalled him with my eyes, he quickly understood and said that the client is already waiting and we needed to leave now.

"See Mum go home I will come later to speak with you" I pecked her and she nodded and left with Chloe who kept whinning. 

"B**ch" I muttered when they left and Philip Grinned. What's that on your face I asked him and he quickly wiped off the grin and gave out a nervous smile.

 Why are you here I asked and he waved a file at me. It needs your signature he said and I nodded and collected the files, flipped the pages are signed then gave it back to him.

 "Thanks for saving my ass Philip" I thanked him and he smiled punfectionary before he left and I headed to my office.
