Chapter 3

Days turned into weeks and my 18th birthday came. I am so happy that finally I get to be freed from serving my mother's punishment. I sat in my usual resting rock singing out and dancing and twirling my tail happily.

 "Human world here I come" I screamed inside me and swam back to the palace. Soon the King sent for me and I went into the throne room. 

"Long live king Lucas" I bowed to him and he know that nodded then I glanced beside him to see the queen.

" long live queen Adalind" I bowed and she rolled her eyes. The princess was sitting beside her mother and I greeted her also.

"Melissa today marks your 18th year of serving your mother's punishment after she died weakly without completing her punishment" he said and I sighed inside "I know they killed her know that to make me suffer but it's all over now I'm going to free year and go to the human world.

"So because you have completed the punishment you are hereby set free; you can go on and live among your fellow mermaid"

"You now have the ability to explore the Kingdom except from the shores and if you are caught going to the shores, you will be persecuted" he said and I nodded and bowed. "say that to the winds" I thought and and thanked him.

" You can go now" he said and I smiled swimming out happily.

Knowing that's he will send the guards to monitor were I am going, I went to my resting place and stayed there for a while until it was time for the Palace sleep then I swam out and and headed to the shores as fast as I can.

 I am a very fast mermaid, that is also one of my abilities apart from singing.

I got to a narrow end and saw a Palace guard swimming pass and I hid behind a rock. He passed and I waited a little before continuing my Journey. I got to the surface and smiled happy. 

"Woooahhh!!!! I exclaimed happily and swam closer to the human world. I placed my tail on the sand and it turned to legs instantly. I felt a tingling sensation just like in my dreams but I ignored it because I was too happy to focus on it.

I saw a big objects at a distance and slowly walk towards it. I got closer to it and it was so beautiful, I touched it smiling happily "humans have beautiful things" I said touching the human flowers they are not like our sea flower and they are so beautiful.

I entered the object and I think it is a house because it has a rock like object covering it. I pushed it and it opened. "Hahahaha" I smiled and walked in. "ATLANTICA!!!! I screamed looking around the beautiful house; "humans sure lives beautifully" I said and suddenly I heard a yell and I froze.

 "Who the hell are you and what the hell are you doing in my living room naked" the person screamed am I looked up to see my leaf boy staring at me with wide eyes.

I gasped and ran to him hugging him so tightly but he pushed me away. My leaf boy I called him and he frowned."what the hell are you saying" he said and frowned more.

Yes you are my leaf boy I said and hugged him again and he dragged me out of his body.

" Try that again and I will call the police on you; go back and tell the person who sent you that you didn't see me sl*t" he said and I frowned.

I remember he called me sl*t in my dreams and now he is calling me that again. "Maybe I look like the sl*t he knows" I thought and smiled at him.

"My name is actually Melissa and not the sl*t you keep calling me, perhaps I just happened to look like her but I am not her" I told him and he looked at me wierdly.

"Are you insane? He asked me and I frowned again getting angry. "I just told you that my name is Melissa and you are still asking if I am insane, I don't know those people" I said frowning more and he shook his head and continued looking at me weirdly.

"Who sent you to come here and seduce me" he asked and I gazed up at him. I brought out this strange leaf and showed it him, he snatched it and stared at me strangely. "what are you doing with my picture I and where did you get it from" he said and I smiled 

"I saw it in my home in Atlantica. I told him and he nodded dropping the picture as he called it on an object beside him.

 Ok, "Thanks for bringing it back; you cannot go" he said push me out and closed his human rock.

 I have nowhere else to go and I can't go back to Atlantica. It's so dark here unlike in Atlantica where the only dark place is the skull room.

                 (ASHER'S POV)

I was resting on my couch in the Beach House and surfing the internet when suddenly my door opened and I glanced at it to see a naked girl standing in front of the door and looking around the house. 

Suddenly she screamed out and started laughing. she looks so beautiful; she has a blue hair and her skin is so fair and spotless. 

She was innocently looking around the room as if she hasn't seen anything for the first time then she suddenly muttered "humans are living so beautifully" and I blinked feeling a little bit scared.

"Is she insane or what" then she started walking towards the centre table and I yelled at her standing up and going to her.

"Who are you and what the hell are you doing here what in the world are you doing here in my house naked" I asked her and she froze. 

She looked up and her deep ocean blue eyes lit up instantly and she screamed hugging me tightly crushing her b**bs on my chest.

 I looked down on her and she immediately screamed again "My leaf boy" she called and I widened my eye and dragged her away from my body.

 "What the hell is leaf boy and is she calling me that? she must be insane, such a beauty to be insane.

who are you and what are you doing in my house naked I asked her again and she ignored me and tried touching me again and I moved back.

"Who sent you here to seduce me you S**t" I said and she frowned. "why are you still calling me s**t again? you keep calling me s**t all the time, I have told you that my name is Melissa and not s**t, Perhaps I might look like your s**t girl but I am not her" she said and I find myself chuckling.

"Are you insane? I asked her and she glared at me getting angry "I just told you now that I am not your insane and your s**t that my name is Melissa; can't you hear? she yelled and I chuckled internally what a psycho girl.

Okay Melissa, that's your name right? And she nodded.

"What are you doing here" I asked her yet again and she brought out a picture from her hair and showed it to me. I quickly snatched it seeing that it was the picture that fell into the beach the other day. 

"Where did you get this from I asked her and she smiled, her smile is so mesmerizing and addictive. "In my home at Atlantica" she said and I shrugged and dropped it on the couch.

 "Thank you, you can now go" I said and she found but I pushed her out and lock the door.

"What's a girl" I exhaled and went into my room and switched off the lights.

Early the next day I woke up and went into the bathroom to shower and prepare for work I was done shortly are not having time for breakfast, I walked out of the house and headed to my garage only to see pairs of legs under my car.

"What the hell" I'm shrieked and tapped it and the owner climbed out after several taps. The blue haired girl? What is she still doing here I thought and stared back after as he was staring at me. 

I thought human world are only dark she said and I frowned, what nonsense is she spurting out .

"What are you doing under my car" I asked her and she looked at me weirdly. "Car" she mumbled and looked back at and touched the car. "Oh I thought it was another type of human house" she said and I frowned.

"Why didn't you go home" I asked her and she Frowned, "I don't want to go back to Atlantica" she said looking down and fiddling with her fingers.

"What the hell is Atlantica" I asked her and she pointed at the beach, I rolled my eyes and looked back at her. "where is your home" I asked her again and she still pointed at the beach. I groaned touching my hair in frustration. 

This lady is going to make me late for my meeting. I look down to see her still naked. 

"If this boys see her naked they will definitely pounce on her" I thought and went in and got her my t-shirt to put on.

I came out and give it to her. "Put it on" I told her and she collected the clothes from me and examined it.

"You mean I should wear this object you are wearing? She asked and I chuckled and nodded then she placed it on her head and started struggling with it. "I can't wear it she yelled breathing heavily and I groaned and collected it from her here.

"Put your hands" I said and she did. I bottoned up the shirt and took her inside. I'm definitely taking her to the hospital when I come back I said and drove off to work.
