- -RAINA’S POV- From the mezzanine, Azara beckoned, "Your uncle's coming for Venus." After looking up at her, my eyes switched to the parking lot, and I did not see Uncle Duke's car driving up. As Beta, he ran the pack in the absence of Alpha King Vance. Faster than a bullet, I dashed up the stairs to help Azara with Venus. When I saw her at the same desk by the classroom window, she had gone limp and semi-conscious. I was well cognizant of how messy I must look in comparison to my orderly image, but I did not get the time to fix my appearance with everything happening this swiftly.
