ADRIAN

"Mate."

I froze, my whole body getting cold from Adair's voice in my head. We spoke about a lot of things but the word "mate" was something Adair hardly said, especially in identification.

"What do you mean, mate?"

It wasn't possible. It couldn't happen. If Adair meant what i thought he meant. Every wolf was destined only a mate in its lifetime. I had already found mine, years ago. Veronica. I couldn't have another mate. No, i just couldn't.

"She's our mate." Adair sing sang in my head. I was confused. With Aria on top of me after being spent from tumbles of passion, i couldn't really do much.
