My eyes skimmed though the desk, trying to make sense of the files on it. Where would I start sorting this mess from now? It’s so annoying that I still haven’t been able to sort out all the mess that had happened, and my brothers were actually not helping much.

The cream coloured file that had the details of the North area. I calmly rose it up, trying to peruse through the file, when I heard a screech.

That has never happened before. I shot out from the chair and looked around my office, but there was nothing out of the ordinary. With a growl, I made my way out of the office, only to collide with Nikolai.

I cursed as we pulled back from each other. Raul was standing beside him, and he was looking quite amused as though we were comedians or something.

"Did you hear it?" I asked as I tried to focus on the sound I heard earlier.

The two looked at each other, and shrugged. "What are you talking about?"

I itched my hair as I looked down the hall, only for the sound to come again. Th
