196 Slow Shift

Willa's POV

I backed away from Natasha as fast as my twisted limbs allowed me. I couldn't tell whether it was the wolfsbane or the shift, or my body was actually on fire, but everything was burning hot, and I felt like my bones were melting.

"Ahhh!" A scream escaped me when my knee cap dented as if an invisible hammer smashed on it. I curled up in the pain, failing to find a way out. Natasha took her chance and jumped at me, her claws reaching for my leg that I couldn't move. I tried to roll but I could barely control my body.
