"You are cooling down, kitten." Kirsch pressed his forehead against mine, his voice luring me in. I reached up for his lips but he dodged quickly.

"Sneaky, sneaky..." Kirsch chuckled, pressing his lips on the back of my hand instead. The flame in me was getting weaker and weaker. The wolfsbane was wearing off. I knew, I was familiar with it.

"What do I do next? How do I finish the shift?" I tried to move but still couldn't. It was like my whole body was broken into pieces, no longer intact.

"Try to feel your wolf. You can't finish the process on your own, you need her help." Kirsch told me, his hand was shivering as he held mine.

[Can you company me?] I mindlinked him and he put it through immediately.

[I'm here, kitten. You should be able to wake up your wolf and finish the process.] Kirsch said in a soft tone, and Rudy grinned at me, bright as always.
