137 The Alpha's Secret

Taran's POV

[Willa!] Cerberus roared as he sprinted in a random direction. I could barely recognize the forest with his manic run.

[Give me control so we can go look for her!] I fought him and we crashed into a tree, knocking it down, and almost broke our shoulder in the process. Cerberus roared in frustration at my interfering as he lay in the dirt, panting.

[Willa!] Cerberus roared again, trying to get back up. Under the desperation in his voice I felt sorrow and nervousness. It hurt to feel his feelings and I didn't want to put up a fight with him, but I didn't know how to steal Willa away when her real mate was Kirsch.

[Please, Cerberus. Calm down first and we will talk.] I pleaded as he tried to pick up his paws again. We weren't even running in the direction of the Alpha's house where Willa was.

His mind wasn't sane enough to process that information when he literally heard us through the mindlink.
