133 On The Edge

Willa's POV

It took me a long time to fall asleep after Al gave the "curfew order".

I didn't remember how I fall asleep, but having Al's scent near helped a lot. When I woke up, Al was already gone. I turned and buried my face in his pillow, breathing in his smell. It calmed me.

I didn't know how it would feel like when my wolf claims me a mate, but surely it wouldn't feel much different than the pull I felt toward Al, right? I doubt if any wolf's smell could calm me like his. No matter how doubtful Al was about Cerberus's claim, I knew he was just being silly.

"Willa?" Kirsch suddenly knocked on the door. I jerked my eyes open before I wrapped myself with the sheet--

"Don't come in!" I panicked.

"I won't!" Kirsch answered quickly, "Just checking if you are up? Today is the pack run so I have to leave early."
