Chapter 3

I couldn't believe it had worked. Alpha Kai had made love to me with open arms. From the rump I had, I knew the difference between an Alpha and a Beta. The strength gap was far too wide.

Kai felt guilty for his actions. Taking his son's mate under him was something to be ashamed of. I was sure he couldn't believe it himself, but he had been seduced. It wasn't the first time he'd been seduced, but it was the only time he leaned in for it. I had something special that made him attracted and wanting. I could feel he felt vulnerable and tried to keep away from me.

"Good morning, Father,” I bent to greet him, pretending nothing happened the night before. Kai looks at her from head to toe, remembering what he had done. It was pretty hard to forget it. He ruminates around the corners, pretending to be looking for something.

"Father?" I pestered him, trying to get a word out of his mouth.

"Good morning to you, Lorenzo," he replies, avoiding eye contact. I could sense something fishy in his eye movements and decided to ask what was going on. Kai is still ruminating when I come forward, making him gaze directly at my hips. Stealing a glance at me, he shrieks, moving away.

I could feel the heat he was giving off. It was the perfect chance to get back at Teagan, and I wasn't going to miss it. All I needed was for Kai to make me his Luna and make Teagan bow before me, apologizing for his wrong actions of not believing me when I said I didn't sleep with his father.

"You know you don't need to be shy with me around. I am here if you need anything. I move towards him, behaving like an obsessed being. My hair was scattered, with my nightgown still on.

"Alpha Kai, young master Teagan is here with his new mate to receive your blessings. “A young male omega appears before us. He is swept off his feet when he sees my outfit.

"Damn," he blurted out unconsciously. My body was so giving that he didn’t know when he started drooling.

“You can leave; I’ll meet him in the living room,” Kai says, walking towards his bedroom.

I couldn't help but chuckle seeing Kai and the omega almost falling into a trance. I knew my body was a killing machine that no man could avoid. I turn back in an attempt to enter my room when I bump into something.

I looked up to see who had been so reckless and devious to hit me head-on. I stepped back a little, not believing the image my eyes brought up. Right before me was my blood sister, Bridget Nolan.

Bridget, my younger sister, is the definition of a hottie. She had the perfect body and curve like her older sister, but this time she was much prettier. Genetic evolution is in play. Bridget wasn't as strong as me and not as fierce as me, being the weak little sister I had always fended for.

"What are you doing here?" Bridget asks.

"I should be asking you that. Teagan is right outside where you want him, and there you are coming to meet his father in the bedroom," I let out, not letting my emotions get in the way.

"Oh, I see what's going on here, “Bridget says, looking at the nightgown I was putting on.

"Whatever is going on here is none of your business; after now, you have betrayed me, your blood sister." I stammered as our eyes made contact.

"So that's what this is about. You're still angry that Teagan chose me over you." Bridget comes closer, trying to piss me off.

"He won't dare choose you over me," I said, throwing back the accusations she laid down.

I calmed down, knowing how annoying her younger sister was. I pulled away, moving towards the room Kai had offered. As I am about to open the door, I feel my head hurting. I bring my hands together, positioning them on my head, touching the spot to ascertain what had happened and to relieve the pain a little. Upon bringing my hands back into sight, I spot blood—my blood.

"I hope you know what's coming for you,” I let out as my eyes changed color from normal blue to plain white. Unlike other werewolves, I was known as the ghost wolf. The title Ghost Wolf given to me is based on my powerful white eyes and indestructibility in my wolf form.

"What do you want to do? Call dear Teagan for me." Bridget growled as her fangs slowly evolved.

*Oh, it's on." I move towards Bridget, taking her by the neck and throwing her onto the table. About to hit Bridget in the face, Bridgpushedhes her leg up, throwing me onto the ceiling, I fell right down, hitting my back on the broken table.

"He isn't good enough for you, Bridget," I let out, taking Bridget by the neck and pushing her closer.

"You're just jealous that he picked me instead of you. It's always like that. You always want the good things in life for yourself without thinking about others," Bridget says, smashing her fist onto my face.

"You're wrong. I take control, smashing her into the wall beside them. "You've always been wrong, Bridget. You never know when to start, nor do you know when to stop. You're just the same old geezer that wanted everything I had. I smashed Bridget further into the wall, making her bleed in pain.

"What if I am jealous? You've always had it all. Beauty, strength, power, a seductive body, and the perfect mate. Who wouldn't be jealous?" Bridget laughs it up with blood in her mouth.

"Maybe I was correct about you. You aren't the younger sister I gave my life to. You're just a jealous young lady," I declared, raising her fist into the air.

"So what do you want to do now? Kill me? Eliminate me?" Bridget said, ripping my nightgown apart.

"Maybe it's time for you to return home,” I say, clutching my hands in the air and making a perfect fist.

"You don't have the guts. You're just that scared sister that acts tough to hide her weakness." A smirk appears on Bridget's lips.

"Maybe I am.".
