Chapter 2

I placed my hands on my face, blocking the penetrating sunlight. My body felt heavy as I rolled over, trying to get a good sleeping posture.

After several twists and turns, I gave up, rolling off the bed and falling onto the ground. I felt a surge of restlessness; maybe it was the after-effects of the alcohol I had taken last night.

I opened my eyes slowly and lifted myself from the floor.

I took a look around, and suddenly I was overwhelmed with joy. From the fluorescent lamp to the marble-tiled floor, I knew it was the house of the mighty Alpha Kai. Though it felt good to be in the house of my father-in-law, I still struggled to believe it. "What am I doing here? Was I kidnapped? What does he want me for? Did Teagan lie to him?" I kept on asking questions I had zero answers to.

With a low growl, I moved towards the door and opened it slowly. A huge passage crossed my sight, making me mumble. With no idea where I was, frustration took over. I couldn't let myself get kidnapped by the ever-silent killers of the night. "How stupid am I to have fallen into that trap?" I couldn't stop myself from whispering under my breath. With a thud, I landed on the bed.

"I see you've finally woken up." A thick masculine voice drives me out of my thoughts. The voice had a sincere but violent tone to it, which gave me shivers. I sat up, looking at the figure standing at the door.

He was huge with a broad chest. His eyes spelled out gold, giving him that charming look. Coily hair like that of a snake gathering, and most especially the snare. It was Alpha Kai.

"Oh, good morning, father," I say, bowing down to give him respect. He had the power to execute anyone in the span of a second, and even my power couldn't comprehend his. I dare not be disrespectful.

"I see you slept well. Anyways, I'll get someone to help freshen you up so we can have breakfast together.". He says it with a smirk on his lips. Though it was a little seductive, it still had that glint of fear that always gave me a shiver.

Breakfast was served hot. A meal of rabbit soup made the best Energizer and befitting breakfast ever. Kai and I sat at a table with chairs opposite each other.

"How's Teagan doing?" he asks watching me dig into the meal. I stop eating for a moment and stare into his eyes. He didn't flinch as expected; instead, he was more eager to hear my part of the story.

"Well, I and Teagan are having a hard time right now." I stuttered, trying every possible means not to make eye contact.

"Hard time as in cheating or what?" Kai asks.

"Something like that." I couldn't tell him what Teagan did, not because he threatened me, I just felt it wasn't necessary.

"I see you don't have a place to stay, and I've decided that you come live with me in the mansion," Kai says with a mouth full of meat.

The thought of living with Alpha Kai was breathtaking. It was like becoming his Luna. It is forbidden, and I was too young for that kind of practice. He had left the dining table, leaving me in deep thought.

Knowing his son for who he was, it wasn't much of a surprise. Teagan was always the crazy one with his mother's attitude. He couldn't take care of him much due to the unending battles and had to leave him with his maids, who didn't get the job done well. Women were his weakness; a move from them could get him laid off.

"When you've decided, you can come and tell me your decision. I will be in my bedroom," he says with his fierce and commanding voice. I gazed at him as he walked down the passage. It was a sight to behold. He was the true definition of a man with a death walk.

As I picked up the plate of rabbit soup, an idea popped into her mind. "What if I become his Luna?". I had become crazy all of a sudden, thinking about something immoral. Alpha Kai was more like a father than a man to me.

"At least I'll have Teagan bow down to me," I blurted out with a rather cold and mischievous voice.

Ever since the scenario Teagan had made, I have been planning my revenge. I wanted to hurt him so badly; I wanted him to feel pain. I wanted him to shed tears of mercy before me, even if it was the last thing I would do.

Alpha Kai wasn't like Teagan, who was easily weakened by women. He was the exact opposite; women were nothing in his sight. They could only spell trouble for him, and he avoided every one of them except me. This was a complete turn-off, eliminating my idea within a second.

Though it was useless I kept feeling the urge to try it out "Yes, that will do the trick," I let out with a mouth full of soup before heading back to the room.

I searched the wardrobe grabbing a blue nightgown, which revealed my curves astoundingly. After dressing, I headed towards his bedroom, which was the only room at the end of the dark passage. It was perfectly isolated and soundproof, perfect for a midnight rump.

Without any form of reluctance, I walked into his bedroom, taking my time to perform the perfect slow walk. I turned back to close the door and ease myself down, showing my backside to Kai. Kai looked away, not giving in to my treacherous plan.

"I have decided”, I whispered moving closer to him while shaking my body continuously, making my twin sisters bounce uncontrollably. Kai tries to look away, but I sat down on the bed with him, tugging off my gown.

"Love me, Alpha Kai.".
