Chapter 15

Teagan's POV

I rushed to the door, tripping over on the way but I quickly got up and opened the door. It was exactly what I was expecting. The beautiful Bridget.

For some minutes, I was stunned, I kept looking at my feet. I finally braced up and looked into her face. The smile I met dissolved all the uncomfortable feelings in my veins.

"Bridget!" I called softly, held her hand, and pulled her inside. I fell on my knees in front of her and hugged her legs.

She bent over me and pulled me up.

"I'm sorry for being so blind. I have found out the truth for myself. Thanks for your guidance and advice. I will never doubt you again," I kept apologizing to show how deeply sorry I was. It was obvious that I was already forgiven but I wanted her to know that I wasn't taking her for granted.

"It's okay. I'm glad you finally understand. What if you're still blinded by their charade? I will lose you and I don't think I can love anyone else the way I love you." Bridget was emotional and
