Alpha Kai's POV

"That's all we want clarifications about. If anything is wrong, we should be among the first set of people to know," Elder Bard divulged to me with his shaky head and voice while Elder Rick nodded to show his support for his words.

I felt a little disappointed by them. They were the elders of this pack that I used to regard highly. Unfortunately, they had stooped so low, acting and confronting me about rumors.

There were better ways to discuss trivia issues like this but they chose to make my problems more complicated instead of making them less severe with proper assistance.

"Have you lost confidence in me as the Alpha? Do I look like I have lost the ability to continue the stabilization of this pack? Or can you tell me the rules that I have gone against since I have been in power?" I had countless questions bothering my mind due to the pain I got from their disappointment.
