16 - A Threat?

Third Person’s Narrative;

The sound of Laura and her maid giggling in the ballroom was one warm sound to the heart and ears. The opulence of the room, with its crystal chandeliers, and beautiful tapestries seemed to enhance the cheerfulness of their rehearsal. Laura’s laughter, light and melodic, wove seamlessly with the delicate strains of the violin, creating an atmosphere of blissful fun.

She twirled gracefully with her dress billowing around her like a cloud of dreams. Her maid, Lydia, mirrored her movements, their steps becoming a harmonious dance of practice and joy.

“Lady Laura, you look as though you’ve stepped out of a fairy tale,” Lydia said, her voice warm with genuine admiration.

Laura’s eyes sparkled as she swirled to face her maid.

“Oh, Lydia, I feel as though I’m dreaming. I just can’t wait for the wedding. The waltz will be perfect, won’t it? Dante and I will look so lovely together. ”She spoke, and Lydia beamed.
