Frustration

“How the fuck could you do something like that.” Sam, who was now sitting opposite Avalor and sipping a glass of wine said.

“I knew losing her would be fast so I had to secure her as mine.”Alpha Avalor said to Sam who chuckled.

“Thats fucked up, but I thought you two were are already meant for each other why else did you need to find an alternative way?” sam asked and I sighed in frustration, how else was I going to explain this things that he would even understand me.

“She already had an actual mate but the dumbass decided to reject and I was picked to represent him.” I said but all Sam did was stare at me like I hadn't said everything yet.

“Thats man you said rejected your mate and missing Luna, hope he is dead?” Sam questioned.

“Sam, he is not dead…why would you think that?” Avalor questioned making Sam wonder if it was really his friend or not.

“How could you keep such a person alive? I never knew you to be so weak and decided to just keep the bastard roaming around and mostly alive.” Sam questioned making Avalor suddenly feel a huge remorse for Lucas.

“That bastard! And can you believe he made her a slave in his palace!!! His own Queen!!” Avalor was slowly getting angry as he had tried to keep calm all these days concerning the issue but now that Sam brought the matter all up he felt like everything that happened to Melissa wasn’t meant to happen.

“Stop it Avalor, dont get angry at such irrelevant things.” Sam said to him as he rushed up to him, patting his shoulder gently.

“We would find Melissa.” Sam assured him with a smile.

“Stop smiling Sam, how are we going to find her?” Avalor asked.

“We ask for help from the supernatural beings, they would have eyes and ears everywhere making it very easy to find Melissa ….they always get an accurate respond and they don’t make mistakes.” Sam said as Avalor thought about it, those were the first people that came to his mind even before Sam but he felt like it wasn’t right to do that.

“I don’t always feel at ease when it comes to those people, they are so treacherous and they would demand something in return for their favor.” Avalor murmured to Sam.

Sam listened attentively to Avalor's concerns, understanding his hesitation. He knew that Avalor possessed remarkable tracking abilities as an Alpha, making it possible for him to sniff out Melissa without relying on supernatural help. Sam acknowledged Avalor's capabilities, but also stressed the urgency of finding Melissa quickly.

"Look, Avalor, I know you have amazing tracking skills. But time is of the essence here. We don't know what kind of danger Melissa might be in, and the longer we wait, the more risk she faces," Sam reasoned, his voice filled with concern.

Avalor sighed deeply, knowing that Sam had a point. He couldn't bear the thought of Melissa suffering any longer, especially knowing that she had been enslaved by her rejected mate. As his anger simmered, he realized that finding her as soon as possible was the top priority.

"You're right, Sam. We can't waste any more time," Avalor finally conceded, determination firming his voice. "I'll need to focus my senses and use every ounce of my tracking abilities to sniff her out. I won't let anything stand in the way of bringing her back home."

Sam nodded in agreement, relieved that Avalor had come to a decision. He knew that Avalor's determination and unwavering loyalty to Melissa would guide him in their search. Together, they would do whatever it took to rescue her and bring her back to safety.

"Alright, Avalor. We'll start right away," Sam said, a determined glint in his eyes. Avalor stood up while going through his room as he paced around nervously thinking whether or not to call them when his senses suddenly caught something, the scent of Melissa.

“Sam!!!!” Avalor yelled rushing down the stairs and towards the lower ground where strangers toured the company.

“Avalor!!! What’s wrong?” Sam questioned as he had never seen Avalor this agitated.

“I can sense her, she is so close to me yet I fish her out.” Avalor replied with a frustrated stare as he continued to look around for Melissa but no one looked like her.

“She is here Sam!” Avalor yelled in frustration before rushing out of the company, staring at all the people going back and forth but still no one looked like her or even had any of her features.

“Avalor please calm yourself down! People are watching you.” Sam warned Avalor but the fact that he could feel her presence and she was still no where to be found made him hate everything.

“Ahhhhh!!!!!” Avalor yelled gaining even more attention from the people around as some whispered. Avalor felt like blocking his senses to Melissa cause being able to feel her but not finding her made everything so unbearable.

“Where are you Melissa!!” He exclaimed, out of exhaustion he realized the tight grip of the tie around his neck as he breathed heavily, Sam slowly escorts Avalor to a nearby bench as he sits stil breathing in and out in frustration.

“Sam, she is here…I can swear that it was Melissa’s scent.” Avalor said to Sam with a sad expression as Sam felt like his heart was being pierced with a sword.

“Avalor, you are stronger than this…hold your pain in till we find her.” Sam said to Avalor who stared back at Sam before nodding bitterly.

Meanwhile in the far edge of the running fountain, Lucas stood there with a devilish grin and a necklace in his hand and in his necklace was Melissa’s blood, like a storage place for the blood.

“If she can’t be mine then you would never find her.” Lucas said his words referring to Avalor who continued to stare around in frustration.
