Avalor tried to cover his face but it was already late.
“Mr Avalor Brandon?” The police men suddenly questioned staring at him in utter shock.
“Yes it’s me.” Avalor replied with a smile as he walked up to them.
“You thought I was a stranger? I am back.” Avalor said with a smirk.
The police officers were taken aback by Avalor's revelation. They had no idea that the man pacing by the roadside was actually a well-known business tycoon. They quickly regained their composure and greeted him respectfully.
"Welcome back, Mr. Avalor Brandon," one of the officers said, slightly embarrassed by their initial confusion. "We had no idea it was you. Is there anything we can assist you with?"
Avalor smiled, appreciating their professionalism. "Thank you for the warm welcome. Actually, I would appreciate it if you could escort me back to my skyscraper. It's been a while since I've been away, and I'm sure everyone will be surprised to see me."
The officers nodded and led Avalor to their van. As they drove through the city, Avalor couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia. The familiar sights and sounds of California brought back memories of his previous life before he entered the supernatural world.
As they arrived at his skyscraper, Avalor's return sent shockwaves through the building. Employees and staff members stood in awe as they watched their beloved boss step out of the police van. Whispers and murmurs filled the air as people speculated about his sudden reappearance.
Avalor, with a calm and authoritative demeanor, addressed the crowd that had gathered in the lobby. "I apologize for my unexpected absence. There were personal matters that needed my attention, but rest assured, I am back for good."
The employees erupted in cheers and applause, relieved to have their leader back. They had been uncertain about the future of the company in Avalor's absence, but now they felt reassured.
Avalor spent the rest of the day reconnecting with his employees and catching up on the latest developments in his business empire. He was pleased to see that things had been running smoothly in his absence, a testament to the capable team he had built.
Throughout the day, Avalor received numerous phone calls and messages from business associates and friends, all thrilled to hear of his return. He assured them that he would be resuming his responsibilities and that the company would continue to thrive under his leadership.
As the day came to a close, Avalor retired to his office, reflecting on the events that had transpired. He couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions – relief, excitement, and a lingering sense of urgency to find Melissa.
Avalor knew that he needed to focus on locating Melissa in the human realm. He couldn't afford to waste any more time. As he sat at his desk, he made plans to intensify his search and gather any information that could lead him to her.
The world of business and the world of the supernatural collided in Avalor's life. Balancing his responsibilities as an alpha and a business tycoon was challenging, but he was determined to navigate both worlds successfully.
As the night grew darker, Avalor prepared himself for the journey ahead. He knew that finding Melissa would not be easy, but he was willing to do whatever it took to bring her back safely. With a steely resolve in his eyes, he closed his office door and set his sights on the mission that lay ahead.
Avalor knew he had to take drastic steps as that was the only way to get Melissa back…he stared at his phone for a long time before finally deciding and picks up his old phone turning it I fit the first after so many years.
He decided to call the elders in the human realm who helped him with everything he needed including searching for people around. And he was also more than sure that Melissa was in California as he could feel his connections with her getting stronger in each passing minutes.
“Brandon.” The other person on the phone called out to Avalor who chuckled.
“It’s alpha Avalor.” Avalor corrected this stranger who turned out to be his best friend in the human realm.
“Woow, bro….you ended up wining your father’s favor and become the king?” The stranger questioned as Avalor smiled like he expected his friend to see his smile.
“We need to throw a party for this big news after so many years.”
“Sam, stop…that’s not why I am calling you.” Avalor said to his friend who groan at Avalor for ruining the fun.
“Why else would you back in the human realm my king.” Sam said to Avalor sarcastically.
“I need to find my queen.” Avalor said but Sam was more confused on the other side of the line.
“Your queen, then just go and get one in the club and couldn’t you find one in that kingdom of yours?” Sam asked Avalor while Avalor thought of how else to tell this long story to Sam.
“ I found her, but then she is missing.” Avalor said but to his surprise Sam chuckled loudly.
“I am serious Sam!” Avalor exclaimed.
“Brandon chill, you can always find another woman to make your queen.” Sam said, Avalor rolled his eye subconsciously to Sam word, as Sam was always known for being to playfully with everything.
“The moon goddess chooses her for me.” Avalor murmured but Sam still chuckled.
“I am serious Sam!!” Avalor yelled.
“Yoo chill bro, we would just find another person and don’t give a darn what the moon goddess think, she isn’t going to come down from heaven or wherever she is just to scold you.” Sam said, Avalor knew this was the right time to tell Sam what was really at stake.
“If I don’t find her I might lose my throne.”
“Shitt…but we can still deal with that.”
“She is pregnant dumbass!!!”
“How the fuck could you do something like that.” Sam, who was now sitting opposite Avalor and sipping a glass of wine said.“I knew losing her would be fast so I had to secure her as mine.”Alpha Avalor said to Sam who chuckled.“Thats fucked up, but I thought you two were are already meant for each other why else did you need to find an alternative way?” sam asked and I sighed in frustration, how else was I going to explain this things that he would even understand me.“She already had an actual mate but the dumbass decided to reject and I was picked to represent him.” I said but all Sam did was stare at me like I hadn't said everything yet.“Thats man you said rejected your mate and missing Luna, hope he is dead?” Sam questioned.“Sam, he is not dead…why would you think that?” Avalor questioned making Sam wonder if it was really his friend or not.“How could you keep such a person alive? I never knew you to be so weak and decided to just keep the bastard roaming around and mostly ali
Lucas stood there by the running fountain, a sinister grin spread across his face. In his hand, he held a necklace, containing Melissa's blood. He had devised a plan to confuse Avalor's senses and connection to Melissa by sending her scent towards him, ensuring that Avalor would never find her first.Lucas revealed in his twisted victory, knowing that he held power over Avalor's desperate search. He believed that if Melissa couldn't be his, then he would make sure Avalor would never have her either. It fueled his ego to see Avalor's frustration and despair as he searched in vain for his beloved. With a malicious chuckle, Lucas carefully concealed the necklace, ensuring that its influence would continue to mislead Avalor. He relished the thought of Avalor's growing desperation and the pain it caused him.Meanwhile, Avalor continued to search, his senses on high alert, desperately trying to locate Melissa. But unknown to him, Lucas had manipulated the situation, making it nearly impossi
It has been a few months since my escape from the human world and I have never been so happy. I sat up on my bed as I stared at the wall clock and I was still very early for work.I yearned out loudly with a wide smile, I tapped my hand twice and the curtains opened in both directions. This was the kind of life I wanted and nothing else. I could live the rest of my generations in the human realm if it meant being away from Alpha Avalor and Lucas.I stood up and as usual took a shower before picking out from the thousand dresses I have the perfect one to cover up my pregnancy and I got a very good one. After making sure I looked excellent and my pregnancy wasn’t obvious, I stepped out of my bedroom as my next job was to make breakfast for Richard as he now always looked forward to the morning dishes I made for him.“Good morning damsel.” Richard said with a wide smile.“Good morning, I see you are eager for today’s breakfast.” I said to him before turning on the gas.“You always find t
I tried to get my self from the hit while few other employees rushed up to the scene, and when I noticed my tummy was now opened for everyone to see I am pregnant, I stood up immediately and covered tha jacket very well but it was still too late for that.Almost all the worker had seen I was pregnant and were all staring at me in surprise and great shock, I knew what they were all thinking as they stared. They must think the baby I am expecting belongs to Richard and that’s why he always favored them.“I am so sorry Lisa, I didn’t know I would hit you and I was also in such great hurry.” She lied but her sinister smile showed it all out too well.“It’s fine, I guess I was just too weak.” I said still trying to act natural but the employees weren’t making it possible as they all continued to stare.“Are you pregnant Melissa.” One of the board members who also ran to our midst when I fell asked and now I felt so embarrassed and frustrated.“Ugh…” I stammered but Lucy didn’t even let me
After the news of my pregnancy spreading through out the whole company, lots of people I knew acted like they ruled the office changed and even the once I was friends with she came careful, there was even a tie I was having lunch alone and I heard them claiming of how carefulThey had to talk to me because they think I would be the next owner of the company since my child was going to be this huge company, but I decided to keep quiet and act like I didn’t hear anything. I concentrated more on my job and juts tried to act cool about all their gossips and words but the baby in me kept pulling me, I always felt weak even when I think I am very strong.Richard also began to notice how weak I was becoming and pleaded with me to go to the hospital but I was still frightened about saying the truth.“You should at least check up on yourself, I always knew pregnant women to be always careful and checking on their health to be sure there was no problem whatsoever but you just take painkillers
“Was that why you don’t have a wife?” I asked Richard out of curiosity.“Yes, it turns out they would all want to try all their best to secure a child for w so they can have access to my property but it doesn’t work out and when they complain to me I have no choice but to tell them the truth that I am infertile.” He said trying his best to hold in the tears I could feel coming from his voice.“They all end up leaving.” I whispered feeling even more bad that I had to ask.“Even if the decide to stay, they only stare for the money it some of them still want a child with me as they find all the wealth meaningless if there isn’t a child to spend it on.” He replied me, I sat up and tapped his shoulder gently in an attempt to cool him down.“No one loves me, all they want is the money that’s why sometimes I always wished I could get the chance to pick how my destiny would go and this time I would throw away all the wealth and stick to having a child of my own. A child I could proudly call m
“Avalor we need to stop this, we need to stop searching in vain.” Sam pleaded with Avalor who was now in a deserted area of the city as he continued to walk around.“She is still out here, I know it!!” Avalor yelled in frustration as he stared at the environment in disgust what could have possibly brought her here?He paced closer to the trail her scent was leaving but he was stunned and also shock to see the scent leaving up the roof.“This is become more absorbed, is she probably walking around in her werewolf form or else there is no way Melissa in her human form would claim that high.” Sam said to Avalor who also starred around in frustration.Sam took a step closer to Avalor, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Alpha Avalor, we must try to remain calm and think logically," he urged, his voice steady and gentle. "I understand your desperation to find Melissa, but we have been following her scent for three weeks now. It doesn't make sense for her to be in areas that she can
“He followed me!!” Avalor yelled in annoyance, he couldn’t believe Lucas had the guts to follow here to the human world despite him being the reason why a war is brewing up in his pack.“That bastard still outsmarted me despite me giving him a second chance and not killing him!” Avalor yelled and Sam noticed he was slowly getting angry.Avalor's anger flared, his fists clenched tightly as he seethed with frustration. Lucas, the betrayer who had caused so much turmoil in their pack, had somehow managed to follow Avalor into the human world. It was a blatant disregard for the dangers he had unleashed and the potential war that was brewing.Sam quickly stepped closer to Avalor, his voice calm but firm. "Alpha Avalor, I understand your anger, but getting worked up won't solve anything. We need to focus on understanding why Lucas is here and what his intentions are."Avalor took a deep breath, trying to reign in his anger. "How is it possible?" he muttered, his mind racing to find an expla
