....Melissa is mine.

Lucas stood there by the running fountain, a sinister grin spread across his face. In his hand, he held a necklace, containing Melissa's blood. He had devised a plan to confuse Avalor's senses and connection to Melissa by sending her scent towards him, ensuring that Avalor would never find her first.

Lucas revealed in his twisted victory, knowing that he held power over Avalor's desperate search. He believed that if Melissa couldn't be his, then he would make sure Avalor would never have her either. It fueled his ego to see Avalor's frustration and despair as he searched in vain for his beloved.

With a malicious chuckle, Lucas carefully concealed the necklace, ensuring that its influence would continue to mislead Avalor. He relished the thought of Avalor's growing desperation and the pain it caused him.

Meanwhile, Avalor continued to search, his senses on high alert, desperately trying to locate Melissa. But unknown to him, Lucas had manipulated the situation, making it nearly impossible for Avalor to find her.

Sam, seeing the torment that Avalor was going through, remained steadfast in his support.

“Avalor, you really need to calm down..this really is suppose to be a good news for you since it sees Melissa is so close to you, we just have to call the teams as planned and let them find Melissa for you.

“I am scared Sam, if they find out she is my weakness with the kind of position I hold in the human world they might take her away from me.” Avalor sobbed.

Sam felt his heart sink as he listened to Avalor's words. He had always known that Avalor held a position of power and influence in the human world, and with that came certain vulnerabilities. But to see his friend, someone who had always been strong and in control, now broken and fearful, was devastating.

He understood Avalor's concerns. The supernatural beings that they were planning to seek help from could easily manipulate the situation to their advantage. They might see Melissa as a weakness for Avalor and try to take her away, exploiting his position and power. Sam couldn't bear the thought of Avalor losing Melissa, the woman he loved, especially after everything they had been through.

However, Sam also knew that they couldn't give up on finding Melissa. She was their priority, and they needed all the help they could get. He placed a comforting hand on Avalor's shoulder and spoke softly, trying to ease his friend's fears.

"Avalor, I understand your worries. The supernatural beings can be unpredictable, and they might see Melissa as a weakness to exploit. But right now, we need to focus on finding her. We can't let fear paralyze us and prevent us from taking action," Sam said, his voice filled with determination.

He looked into Avalor's eyes, hoping to convey his unwavering support and resolve. Sam had always been there for Avalor, and he wasn't about to abandon him now, especially when he needed him the most.

"We'll be careful, Avalor. We'll strategize and make sure that Melissa's safety is our top priority. We won't let anyone take her away from you," Sam assured, his voice unwavering.

Avalor nodded, his eyes filled with a mixture of sadness and determination. He knew that Sam was right. They couldn't let fear control their actions. Melissa's life was at stake, and they needed to do everything in their power to find her and bring her back safely.

"Thank you, Sam," Avalor said quietly, his voice laced with gratitude. "I don't know what I would do without you by my side."

Sam smiled softly, his heart heavy with the weight of their situation. He knew that they were up against formidable challenges, but he also believed in their strength and resilience.

"We'll find her, Avalor. We won't give up until we do," Sam promised, his voice filled with determination.

Sam watched as Avalor took a deep breath, trying to regain his composure. He knew that Avalor was hurting, but he also knew that they needed to stay strong and focused in order to find Melissa. He gently squeezed Avalor's shoulder, offering him a reassuring smile.

"Avalor, I know this is incredibly difficult for you, but we need to stay strong. Melissa needs us to be her rock right now," Sam said, his voice filled with determination.

Avalor nodded, his eyes reflecting a mix of sadness and determination. He wiped away a tear that had escaped his eye, his grip tightening on Sam's shoulder.

"You're right, Sam. I can't let my emotions get the best of me. Melissa needs me to be strong," Avalor replied, his voice steadier than before.

Sam felt a surge of pride for his friend. Despite the pain he was feeling, Avalor was determined to put on a brave face and continue the search for Melissa. Sam knew that they still had a long way to go, but he believed in their ability to find her.

"Let's head back to the company, Avalor. We'll regroup and come up with a plan. We won't let Lucas have the satisfaction of thinking he's won," Sam said, his voice filled with conviction.

Avalor nodded, his eyes filled with a renewed determination. They both stood up from the bench, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. As they made their way back to the company, Avalor couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. He knew that with Sam by his side, they would do everything in their power to bring Melissa back.

Meanwhile, Lucas remained hidden, his laughter echoing through the empty streets. He relished in their futile attempts to find Melissa, confident in the power of his deception. Unknown to Avalor and Sam, Lucas had planned every step carefully, ensuring that Melissa would remain hidden from their grasp.

"Let them search all they want," Lucas whispered to himself, a sinister smile playing on his lips. "They'll never find her. Melissa is mine."
