Kit’s POV Literally, I was going to strangle my sister next time she came over, if my father rang that damn bell, she gave him one more time. Not only was he waking me up in the middle of the night now, but he was also waking Damian, and I am sure some of the staff too, as the ringing of it echoed throughout the quietness of the house at night. Kit’s POV “I really don’t think that all this is necessary.” I tell my sister, as I sit in front of a mirror, while she is insisting on doing my makeup and hair. “I’m not taking any chances of you fudging this up. Kit’s POV My father’s driver pulled the car to a stop at the gate of Dom’s massive estate, as he says into the intercom, “Luna Katrina is here to see Alpha Domonic.” Immediately there was a buzzing sound, before the large metal gate opened, giving entrance to us. Kit’s POV We sat in silence for the first half of dinner, even though I could feel his eyes on me, I remained looking forward, not wanting to make eye contact with him. Kit’s POV The sound of pounding on my bedroom door, along with my sister yelling, “Katrina, wake up!” awoke me from my sleep. I had been up until the wee hours of the morning, not able to sleep from what happened last night. To say I was an emotional wreck with what had transpired between Dom and I, was an understatement, and I cried my eyes out until I had finally fallen asleep, when the sun had started to rise. There was no doubt in my mind why my sister was already here at the crack of dawn, and I knew that either she wanted to know what had happened last night or tell me that Dom had done something else to get back at me for denying him. Kit’s POV “No! No! No!” My sister now cried out, as I made my way into my father’s bedroom, pausing at the foot of his bed when my eyes found the reason for her screams and cries. My father looked as if he was now at peace, as his body lay there still, with his eyes closed, telling me that he had passed from our world. Frozen, not able to move, I stood there staring at him, praying that my sister had given him the news of our family’s name being restored before he had passed. My sister’s sobs now filled the room, as Ms. Caroline and a handful of my father’s servants came running into the bedroom, hearing her cries.
