His Attempt

Storm is currently arguing with the guy she was upset over losing, which is confusing me. Before, I felt the love she had for him; now, it's hate. How have her feelings changed so suddenly? She was so angry at me for him leaving, and now she is telling him to stay away.

I was told this was a quiet spot to sit, but it turned out not to be. It's the first time the guards have left me alone and now everyone is here.

"Just leave!" Storm shouts. "Before I send Quinn to get the guards," Storm glares towards him.

I stand and wait. I'm not sure what guards I should get. Was she asking me to get them or saying she would ask when she needed them?

"Shall I get help?" I ask, and her head shakes.

"He's leaving," Storm replies, but he laughs.

"You will do it, Storm." He looks at her, waiting, but she shakes her head. "You care for him, even I can sense it, which is how I know this will work," he finishes talking and moves quickly. I watch as his hand grips her neck, the other placing a knife
