He doesn’t want to go, he doesn’t want to see Anais, and trying to find Belial means risking seeing her. Pacing the floor, he begins to worry.
Maybe Belial’s silence is because Anais is dead? He could check, but even trying to focus on her and hear her will push him back there.
“Lucifer.” His head snaps up at the woman before him.
“Who the hell are you, and how did you get in here?” She is mortal. How the hell did she get in here and know about him? Panic rises as he considers if Anais has sent her.
“I was told I am the messenger. The first two hid because the message would lead to you killing them. The second two sent me through fear you would kill the messenger.”
Lucifer looks at her, sickened. Anais is dead. Why else would those he sent fear giving him an update?
“What is the message?” He steps towards her as her body tries backing up, his eyes watching as she shakes
A few days pass by as she continues to work, soon realising Emily no longer shows. Her eyes glance around the bar as she finishes another drink. She should go home. Marie and everyone else left over an hour ago, a quick drink after work, yet here she is still sitting at the bar.Standing her body wobbles slightly before she walks out of the bar, her eyes look around for a taxi but quickly give up, and she begins to walk. She is settled now. She has work again and has found herself spending more time with Marie and the other dancers.“Anais.” Turning, she looks at Damon, confused. “Can we talk? That is all, I promise. I will walk you home and talk.”Anais looks at him, she wants to say no, but she can’t be bothered with arguments.“Sure, talk away.” Turning, she begins walking again, hearing him behind her.“I messed up, I realised after everything I messed up. I was so afraid of losing t
Staying quiet, Belial watches as she sleeps. He couldn’t understand it. Before all this, he couldn’t understand it. Now though, does. He isn’t affected by the curse, and something about Anais draws in him, making him want her. Hell, he hasn’t even considered killing her once during these sexual acts. His eyes look across the broken skin covering her body, he went further today than he had the other day, and she didn’t stop him. Why? Shaking his head, hours pass by, and part of him knows he must avoid her, but now he doesn’t want to. He wants to be here, with her. Maybe he can be? Just fun, as she said. Lucifer won’t know. He can send
Anais steps through, going to turn and confront him. She feels her body pushed and pinned against the wall.Belial stood before her as his mouth presses against her neck. His hands pull and rip the dress open until it falls to the floor. His hands stroke along her body as his head shakes. She was naked, fully naked under the dress. His eyes investigate hers.“You’re one crazy woman Anais. It is that crazy, though, that makes me not care if Lucifer banishes me for having you every night.” His hands move and stroke along her body as her hands unfasten his shirt. Slowly her hands strip him entirely.Standing before her naked, his mouth teases along her body, her slight whimpers making him smile. Lifting her, she wraps her legs around his body, his hands grasping her hands and pinning them against the wall. His mouth continues to tease her neck and breasts. Her hands fighting against his grip.Anais looks at him, frustrated. Hell, he
Anais watches as the weeks pass by. While she has met a few guys, none seem to be enough. She keeps seeing Belial, yet for some reason seeing him is only making her crave Lucifer more. She shouldn’t still want Lucifer. How can she when she hasn’t seen him in nearly a year now? Somehow, that just makes her realise that maybe in the real world, she wouldn’t want Lucifer, and it is the curse. “How did it go?” Glancing up she smiles. “Perfect, staff are taking over for a week.” Things changed. One thing that changed was she stopped dancing. Using the money that Lucifer keeps giving her to start a small business. It got her away from dancing in those places. She still sees Marie and the other dancers, though. “Okay, so come on, you called me why?” Belial sits down, looking at her, waiting. “For company, is that such a bad thing?” She grins at him. “Anais, this needs to stop. I haven’t managed to update Lucifer, not e
Leaning down, his mouth covers hers. Moans instantly escape her lips as her hands pull him closer, quickly pulling at his clothes. His hands trail along her body, gently feeling the warmth of her flesh.“Don’t be gentle, Lucifer. I don’t want you to be gentle, sure don’t go as far as nearly killing me again, but don’t go soft.” Her hands pull his shirt open.“I can’t Anais, I meant it when I said I can’t hurt someone, I see you, and I feel nothing but shame and guilt.”“Lucifer, if you’re going to come back to me but changed, then you may as well leave now. I don’t expect you to whip me and hurt me to the point I am passing out and dying. I do expect you to be like before that though, if you can’t, then what is the point?”That is the part of him she craves.Lucifer looks at her, nodding slightly before pulling her closer, his hands removing the towel. Standin
Waking, Anais smiles, the smell of food instantly hitting her. Moving, she sits up and looks around, her body aching. The burns from the rope in certain parts of her body make her smile. Wrapping the robe around herself, she walks downstairs. Stopping in the kitchen, she looks at Lucifer. Well, he is still here, something tells her he will leave, if not now later, tonight, tomorrow, or next week. “You need to eat after last night.” His words are quiet as he puts the plate down, sitting he watches as she sits down. “How are you feeling today, Anais?” Lucifer looks at her, unsure of if he hurt her or went too far. Anais considers it as
Staying sat on him, Anais talks about everything, telling him about dancing and singing. Explaining about Damon and the relationship, and the things they had done together. She watches his face closely as she tells him everything, about Damon using her, about Belial, and her failed date recently. Lucifer sits fascinated, almost mesmerised by her strength, as she sits and tells him everything. The pain she had gone through with Damon was clear on her face yet is nothing compared to the pain he saw on her face when she thought he was about to run again. He can see, Belial for some reason, has broken through her walls, and she trusts him. He can see the feelings behind her eyes as she talks about him, and it worries him. He had never expected to walk away, and Belial to take his place, which it seems he has. “So, the plan now, Lucifer?” Anais looks at him, unsure of if she should trust him again. While he says he won’t walk, she can see the doubt
Standing, Lucifer looks around, his mind going to Belial, of course, now he can connect with Belial before he was blocking Lucifer out to hide the fact he was with Anais. “Brother.” Lucifer turns. “What happened with Damon?” That is the priority now. “His friend got pictures of Damon and his wife,” Belial explains while grabbing a drink. “That is it? He shouldn’t still be alive.” Lucifer looks at him shocked, he would have hurt Anais if he got a chance. “She said to leave him, so leave him. He isn’t a threat Lucifer.” Belial shrugs his shoulders. “You and Anais?” Lucifer looks at him, unsure of what he wants to ask or how much he wants to know. “It was fun, Lucifer, nothing more than fun. Ask her she will tell you that herself. You need to figure out what you’re doing, the curse Lucifer.” Belial looks at him waiting. Lucifer sits quietly. He hadn’t considered the curse, not entirely anyway, so he has no idea of
