Leaning down, his mouth covers hers. Moans instantly escape her lips as her hands pull him closer, quickly pulling at his clothes. His hands trail along her body, gently feeling the warmth of her flesh.
“Don’t be gentle, Lucifer. I don’t want you to be gentle, sure don’t go as far as nearly killing me again, but don’t go soft.” Her hands pull his shirt open.
“I can’t Anais, I meant it when I said I can’t hurt someone, I see you, and I feel nothing but shame and guilt.”
“Lucifer, if you’re going to come back to me but changed, then you may as well leave now. I don’t expect you to whip me and hurt me to the point I am passing out and dying. I do expect you to be like before that though, if you can’t, then what is the point?”
That is the part of him she craves.
Lucifer looks at her, nodding slightly before pulling her closer, his hands removing the towel. Standin
Waking, Anais smiles, the smell of food instantly hitting her. Moving, she sits up and looks around, her body aching. The burns from the rope in certain parts of her body make her smile. Wrapping the robe around herself, she walks downstairs. Stopping in the kitchen, she looks at Lucifer. Well, he is still here, something tells her he will leave, if not now later, tonight, tomorrow, or next week. “You need to eat after last night.” His words are quiet as he puts the plate down, sitting he watches as she sits down. “How are you feeling today, Anais?” Lucifer looks at her, unsure of if he hurt her or went too far. Anais considers it as
Staying sat on him, Anais talks about everything, telling him about dancing and singing. Explaining about Damon and the relationship, and the things they had done together. She watches his face closely as she tells him everything, about Damon using her, about Belial, and her failed date recently. Lucifer sits fascinated, almost mesmerised by her strength, as she sits and tells him everything. The pain she had gone through with Damon was clear on her face yet is nothing compared to the pain he saw on her face when she thought he was about to run again. He can see, Belial for some reason, has broken through her walls, and she trusts him. He can see the feelings behind her eyes as she talks about him, and it worries him. He had never expected to walk away, and Belial to take his place, which it seems he has. “So, the plan now, Lucifer?” Anais looks at him, unsure of if she should trust him again. While he says he won’t walk, she can see the doubt
Standing, Lucifer looks around, his mind going to Belial, of course, now he can connect with Belial before he was blocking Lucifer out to hide the fact he was with Anais. “Brother.” Lucifer turns. “What happened with Damon?” That is the priority now. “His friend got pictures of Damon and his wife,” Belial explains while grabbing a drink. “That is it? He shouldn’t still be alive.” Lucifer looks at him shocked, he would have hurt Anais if he got a chance. “She said to leave him, so leave him. He isn’t a threat Lucifer.” Belial shrugs his shoulders. “You and Anais?” Lucifer looks at him, unsure of what he wants to ask or how much he wants to know. “It was fun, Lucifer, nothing more than fun. Ask her she will tell you that herself. You need to figure out what you’re doing, the curse Lucifer.” Belial looks at him waiting. Lucifer sits quietly. He hadn’t considered the curse, not entirely anyway, so he has no idea of
“Lucifer.” His head raises as he looks at Dom. “All four are in the room waiting.” Nodding, he walks through, the men looking towards him. “You can leave. You were worried I would shoot the messenger. I don’t blame you.” Lucifer watches as they stand and nod. Stepping forward, he shakes his head. “Not you two, they can go, but not you two.” He watches as they leave, the remainder two looking at him confused.“Sorry. Just like them, we didn’t want to be the ones to pass on the message. We would not only be telling you about Belial but also that those two knew and hid. It was a double target on our heads.”
Jumping, she turns to face the door hearing the knocking. Opening it, her body gets pushed through, and the door slams shut.“You’re never alone these days! Then I noticed that new guy and realised this was my last chance.” Anais stands staring at Damon. Still too shocked by everything to even speak.“If I agreed, Anais, agreed to only have you. Will you come with me, like before?” Damon stands in front of her. “If not, I may as well kill you, Anais. I have nothing left to lose right now.”She stays quiet, everything flooding her mind, unable to concentrate, drowning beneath her thoughts and feelings. H
Anais smiles as Lucifer walks towards her. “You made a mess, Kitten.” His head shakes. “Nothing compared to the mess you make, Master. I needed my energy for us playing.” She has been waiting all day, and one way to pass the boredom is to eat. “I guess you are right there, Kitten. You saw just the sort of mess I left after my crazed days of feeding. Are you ready to play?” “I was ready this morning when you said I had to wait because you had plans. What were they anyway?” He never said. “Nothing to bother yourself with, Kitten. Get in that room and strip.” He smiles at her, watching as she walks through. Walking out, he stops. “I’ll be gone soon, don’t worry. She will have no idea I was even here.” Belial walks through. Lucifer nods and goes back to the room with Anais, his eyes falling on her as she is kneeling there naked, waiting. Walking around, he collects some items. He was wrong when it came to this. Anais had as
The door opens, and her eyes glance up. Her hand stops as she holds the food.“Belial.” She hasn’t seen him once. He stayed away because of what he did.“Hey. Sorry, I was meant to be gone ages ago, just forgot something I had to tell Lucifer. I will wait in another room.” Turning, he goes to leave.“No, you’re fine Belial. How are you?” She needs to get over this, sure this isn’t the life she wanted, but it isn’t as bad as she was expecting. She won’t lose Lucifer now before the future was unknown. She would get old and die. He wouldn’t. Now, well, there is no way she can die. Well, she can because she can die, and Lucifer can’t. She watches as Belial sits down with h
Six months have passed, and Belial has only visited a couple of times, yet he seems to keep his distance. Anais looks at him, wondering if he really fears loving her just as Lucifer had. He is only here now because Lucifer felt she was safer with Balial watching over her. "So is this how it will go Belial?" Anais questions. "How what will go?" He turns and looks at her for a second before averting his eyes again. "The next twenty-four hours. You sat silent avoiding looking at me. If it is that painful to be around me Belial get someone else to babysit me for Lucifer." He whips his head around clearly shocked by my words. "I'm not a weak mortal anymore, Lucifer needs to remember that!" I don't get why he is so afraid of letting me be alone. "How can he forget? He wants you safe, he loves you. So just let him do it." "Does he though?" She can't help but wonder if he does. "That is your stupid human side coming free, put it away and keep it locked up until I leave please" Belial
