Chapter 74; Contemplation and argument.

“Shadowland pack won't stop sending letters requesting for their Alpha.” Elder Callen stated as he took his seat opposite Regan.

“They're beginning to add threats.” He added, narrowing his eyes at Regan.

“Well, we can't just tell them their Alpha is dead!” Regan bursted out. Elder Callen shrugged.

Regan hummed thoughtfully, before saying, “Just send a letter in Alpha Silas' name.” He said with a wave of his hand.

“What…should I write?” Asked Elder Callen.

Regan sighed, “Just tell them he wants to stay a few more weeks to help our pack out in some business.” He said. Elder Callen nodded slowly.

“What?” Asked Regan with an arched brow.

“Nothing,” Elder Callen shrugged, “I'll get to it, Alpha.” And with that, he was up to his feet and out of Regan's office.

The latter released a deep breath as soon as the Elder stepped out.
