In a dimly lit bar where sentimental music played, Lucy looked gloomy.

Faye lightly clicked her glass with Lucy's and said, "You'll naturally start talking after a few drinks."

She then threw her arm over Lucy's shoulder. "It's not that I'm calm. It's just that I've become numb."
