Stella clearly didn't understand what Benny meant when he said that Cedric was more than just a figurehead for the Shaw family.

She angrily shouted, "He might be a powerful businessman, but you're the future mayor! Look at how they've mistreated your son. If words about this get out, what will people think of you?

"You've worked so hard to be in this position to free yourself from others' control and gain more power, right?

"How are you any different from a manager from a small company? You're so timid that you wouldn't have made it here if it weren't for the people backing you!"

Enraged by her aggressive tone, Benny raised his arm and slapped her across the face. "I said shut up!"

Stella was initially stunned, her eyes widening.

She then jumped at Benny, her face flushed. "Benny Lynch, how dare you hit me? I'm going to kill you! You coward! What else can you do apart from bullying me and our son?"

This sent Stella into a frenzy, and she lunged at Benny, wanting to fight him.
