"Come on, Ryan, don't be a damn son of a bitch!" exclaimed Stefan. "Why don't you want to sign the divorce? Did you really think Morgana's love would last forever?"

I shot him a cold look and scowled, slamming the glass on the table in front of him.

Michael laughed at his friend's reaction and choked on his drink, coughing a bit to clear his throat. Stefan widened his eyes but continued: "No. Seriously, man. Did you think you could keep her on the leash while you slept with another woman?" His tone was sarcastic and ironic, making me tighten my jaw.

"I didn't think anything!" I explained calmly, keeping my eyes serene. "I just don't want to sign this crap just because she wants this shit done quickly."

Michael raised his eyebrows, but I remained with my irritated gaze. "Just because she doesn't need my family's money anymore, she thinks she can do this? I don't understand why she agreed so quickly."
