103 - The first evidence

It's been raining since I left the restaurant. I arrived at my little command center in the poor parts and lower classes of Rookgaard, from where I oversee all the trade and distribution of the city's underground market. It wasn't a business I wanted to take on almost thirty years ago, but it's my legacy. I'm not exactly a good man. But I won't say that when I was young, this is what I envisioned for my life.

Today was somewhat frustrating. My first encounter with the man whom my sweet and sour beloved, Sorya, claims to be my son, wasn't the best. I believe in the word of my beloved, and even if I didn't want to believe, I wouldn't stand a chance of denying it.

He's equally stubborn, with a sharp tongue like his mother's when we first met. He has the posture of a businessman, but he doesn't shy away from acting with emotion. But I must admit he has excellent taste. He dresses elegantly, as one would expect from a Burke. I spent a long time glancing sideways while he talk
