109 - A push

As expected, I was assigned to the emergency, and to my complete lack of luck, today was another busy day at the hospital. My head was throbbing with intense pain, and I couldn't figure out why.

I had slept well last night, hadn't skipped breakfast, so there was no apparent reason for this annoying and persistent pain. I just took a dose of ibuprofen at the infirmary before returning to my patients, who, thanks to an explosion in a restaurant kitchen, were quite a few. I walk down the hallway for a while as interns and nurses pass by with patients on stretchers.

This is a real chaos. I spot some of my colleagues in different triage rooms, slowly approaching until I get close to Keila, who is assessing a guy with his arm almost entirely affected by burns.

"What do we have here?" I ask, pulling the clipboard with the information she had already collected.

"Thank goodness you're here!" She says in a relieved tone. "This is chaos. Are you feeling better?"
