They laughed together, and Rosa introduced them. "This is my grandson, Ethan, and his girlfriend, Hanna Smith."

Francisco shook their hands warmly. "What a beautiful young lady. Ethan, don't let her go. Marry her and have lots of kids to keep the family line going."

They laughed at Francisco's joke.

Ethan left Francisco to chat with Rosa and invited Hanna to dance. "Shall we dance? Just to pass the time and show Grandma that we're sweet on each other."

"Mr. Miller, I don't know how to dance," she whispered in his ear.

Besides, the music was sweet, and she wasn't eager to be close to Ethan's body again.

"Don't worry, I'll teach you," he said, pulling her onto the dance floor.

Hanna glanced around. All she had to do was drape her arms around his neck, which she did. She felt his hand settle on her waist.

Unfortunately, she was clumsy with her feet and kept stepping on his toes.

"Just follow my lead. Relax. Your body is too stiff," he said.

The dance steps were simple.
