As a sign of mourning for Cindy's passing, Ethan declared a day off so employees could offer their condolences. He also sent flowers and a substantial amount of money to her grieving family.

Life was indeed fleeting—one moment someone could be here, and the next, they could be gone from this world.

"Hanna, come with me to the condo. Help me with some documents. I'll call a meeting for tomorrow," Ethan said.

They arrived at the condo, and Ethan handed Hanna a laptop to facilitate their work.

They compared the digital copies in the system with the hard copies of the financial reports submitted to Ethan.

Ethan asked, "What do you want to eat? I'll place an order."

"Just pasta, please," Hanna replied, and Ethan placed the order.

"Let's eat first. We'll continue our work later," Ethan said.
