Dylan extended his hand to Ethan, fully aware that Ethan would not shake it.

Hanna felt a mix of amusement and exasperation—here were two handsome men seemingly ready to fight over her, and neither of them was actually her boyfriend.

Edgar emerged and called the men inside. "We have guests! Come in, gentlemen. Let's have a drink."

Edgar was thrilled at the prospect of having some alcohol.

"Mr. Smith, I'll send over some good liquor," Ethan said.

"Mr. Smith, feel free to order whatever snacks you like," Dylan added.

The neighbors were already peeking, recognizing Dylan.

The three men began drinking, and Edgar even invited some friends over.

Ethan sat beside Hanna and put his arm around her. "Mr. and Mrs. Smith, since I have you both here, I want to ask for Hanna's hand in marriage. We're planning to get married."

Hanna caught Dylan's look of surprise out of the corner of her eye but couldn't bring herself to look at him directly.
