Lorenzo's POV

I've never been happier than this- with Celestine's head on my chest and her light snores brushing the hairs on my body.

Running my hand down her back, I lay there, thinking. I can't shut the thoughts out as they drift into my head unbidden. What's going to happen to Celestine and me after these two weeks are over? Are we going to keep our relationship hidden forever? Is there even another option for us?

Sighing, I press a kiss against Celestine's forehead and she snuggles closer to me. My chest squeezes.

I'm not going to overthink this. I'm just going to enjoy each and every moment I can get with Celestine for however long that might be.

Slipping out from under Celestine proves to be a difficult task. She is like a vise wrapped around me. It takes me prying her arms off my person for her to let go but thankfully she doesn't wake up from all the shuffling around I did. Instead, she grabs a pillow and clutches it to her chest. Great.
