“Is that cool with you?”

I blinked. Staring at Daciana with my mouth agape. I tried to think of anything that she might have been talking about so I’ll give her a reply. But my mind is painfully blank, as it has been for the past few days.

Wait, no. It is not blank. It is filled with the images of a certain dark haired brooding male with dark eyes. The same man who is currently striding into the dining room. Looking good as hell in his black pinstripe suit. As always.

You’ll have to forcefully cut him off from black if you want to stop seeing him in them.

“What do you want?” Daciana grumbles at the sight of her brother, her attention going back to him.

I breathe out a sigh of relief, glad he distracted her from me and my lack of attention. Not that it meant I was particularly happy to see him. I was kind of hoping he would go ahead and pretend he doesn’t see me.
