The Next Day

The next day dawned bright and early, sunlight streaming through the curtains of Emily's room. She stirred, muscles aching from the intense training session with Kamsy and Inishola. Despite the soreness, she felt a strange sense of accomplishment. She had faced challenges she never thought she could overcome and was eager to see what the day would bring.

She quickly dressed and made her way downstairs, finding Kamsy already in the kitchen, preparing breakfast. He looked up as she entered, a smile lighting up his face.

"Sore," she admitted with a small laugh, "but good. Ready for whatever comes next."
