Angelo drove down the quiet road, the soft hum of the engine the only sound in the car. It was a peaceful evening, the kind where the worries of the world seemed to melt away, if only for a while. He needed this drive, a break from the tension that had been suffocating the family ever since Emily's kidnapping and Amy's betrayal.

As he turned a corner, he noticed a little girl standing by the side of the road, her small frame barely visible in the twilight. She looked lost, her eyes wide with fear. Angelo slowed down and pulled over, his protective instincts kicking in.

"Hey there," he said gently, stepping out of the car. "Are you okay?"

The girl looked up at him, her eyes welling with tears. "I... I can't find my mom," she whispered, her voice trembling.

Angelo crouched down to her level, offering a reassuring smile. "It's okay, we’ll find her. Do you know where you last saw her?"

The girl nodded, sniffling. "At the park... but I don’t know how to get back."
