Chapter 67; Moving away

Dr. Colbert examined Cody’s X-ray while Cody sat on the operating table with his dad standing beside him.

“Dad I want to go back to work after this surgery, I’m sick and tired of the massages and the drama” Cody said.

“But you need to recover after the surgery, right?” Mr. Whyte asked the doctor who nodded in agreement.

“And your physio starts right after surgery, so you’ll barely have time to work” Dr. Colbert informed him.

“I won’t be having those exercises the whole day, dad if I stay home with Nina any longer, I’ll kill myself before I recover” Cody threatened.

“Cody what the hell is wrong with you, this woman took two years off, just to be by your side, how ungrateful can you be” Mr. Whyte yelled.
