68; All alone

Nina sat down all night refusing to leave the hospital. She wouldn’t listen to anyone so her mother was called. Mrs. Story came rushing in quickly looking worried about Nina.

“Honey, why won’t you go home?” She asked with a concerned look.

“It’s an empty house, all my darlings are here” she said and shrunk into one corner of the corridors.

“So should we go home?” She asked and Nina looked up dejectedly.

“Take the lead mum, I’ll come later” she answered.

“Why? Let’s just… go together” she tried to coerce Nina but she wouldn’t budge. “Okay, I’ll be waiting for you don’t be long” she retreated and left.

Nina tearfully got into her car and drove to Dylan’s apartment when her mom left. She knocked on Dylan’s door till he opened it. She was shivering from the cold and in tears.

“Is it possible that one person can be in love with two people at the same time?” She asked immediately.

“Huh?” Dylan asked in total confusion.

“Is it possible that one heart can beat for two people?” She asked a
