Chapter 73; Mysterious woman

Dylan stopped by the bake shop to get some breakfast before continuing on his way to work. When he stepped out he bumped into a scruffy looking woman in her late 20’s. He stepped out of the way for her and turned to look at her again, she looked familiar, was she a cleaner at his workplace or a scavenger looking for scraps at the junkyard near their office. He stood outside the shop staring at her as she grabbed a doughnut shook off some notes paid for it a made for the exit. She bumped into Dylan again and before she could complain she passed out. Dylan shook her vigorously but she wouldn’t wake up, he stopped a taxi and rushed her to the nearest hospital.

“What’s your relationship to the young woman you just brought in?” She asked.
