Chapter 81; A million lies

When Myra opened her eyes it fell on Cody’s sleeping face she sat up with a start and looked around she was in Cody’s bedroom in bed with Cody, she screamed and jumped out of the bed waking Cody up. When he opened his eyes Myra immediately covered her chest with her hands, she was wearing clothes from yesterday. Cody gave her a confused look then chuckled.

“I didn’t do anything” he said knowing she thought he touched her.

“Why am I in your bed?” She asked still covering her chest.

“I fell asleep on the couch, you fell asleep on the floor, I woke up at dawn to take my meds and saw you on the floor, so I picked you up” Cody explained.

“You… didn’t see anything?” Myra asked.

“See what? Come on I don’t have time for that… if we ever do that I need you wide awake” Cody said getting out of bed. “And there’s no point in looking” he entered the bathroom and Myra blushed with embarrassment.
