Chapter 86; All over again

“Is that why you paid someone to stalk me?” Cody suddenly asked and Nina went mute. When did Cody find out he was being stalked, she only used to randomly call his office to find out if he was at work and over the years he was also confirmed to be in his office until two weeks ago he was reported to have left earlier than usual throughout that week. So she got someone to tail him and bug his cars and office. Knowing Cody she knew he’d never bring a girl home, he’d rather get a place and take her there that’s why she never bothered to put any surveillance cameras in his home. Only a tracker and sound recorder so she could where exactly he was headed and eavesdrop on his conversations since Cody would catch on quicker if she installed a camera.

“I didn’t stalk you” she said and pretended to focus on the tv.
