“Why is he drunk?” Ford asked while driving us to Sean's house. I glanced at him in the rear mirror and I couldn't answer him immediately.

“It's not because of me,” that's what I can assure of. Sean isn't wasted like this because of me.

“You cried,” he commented. When I looked back at him, his eyes were just pinned on the road while busy driving. If I knew, he really chose not to look at me the moment he noticed that.

I don't know if it is just obvious that I cried or Ford just has keen eyes to notice that.

“What’s weighing you, Dahlia?” I drew a smirk. It feels good to hear my name being mentioned all of a sudden.

“I think Sean didn't change,” I mentioned. “His heart still calls Celeste and he is still miserable from her death.”

I didn't hear anything from Ford. We were covered with great silence along the way. Even if he doesn't talk, I know that there are a lot of things running in his head.
