“Why am I here? I want to go home,” I tried to stand on my feet but ended up falling. My heart almost jumped out of my chest as I was waiting to land on the floor. However, Sean was too fast and he was able to catch me with his broad arms.

That addictive scent invaded my nose again and I found myself closing my eyes.

“I'm fine,” I uttered. Well, much better than earlier. I think I'm already sober now. I even pushed him away on his firm chest to use my remaining strength.

“You're drunk, Dahlia. Do you really think I would let you go home in that condition?” He asked. I took that chance to stare at his handsome face. His eyes were dark and somehow cold as well. Is he upset again? He's obviously trying to hold it back for some reason.

“I can handle myself,” I said firmly. I even had the audacity to throw his hands away from me as I started to take steps. We are in his room. He brought me here after getting me out of the bar.
