“It's about Sean,”

That moment, I was ready to hear what she was about to say. My heart was pounding and I suddenly felt nervous to the point that it felt like I stopped breathing. Why do I not feel good about this? She was looking at me heavily and I could see how huge the problem was right through her eyes at me. They were full of hesitation, fear and sorrows. A fear from a mother who's worried about her son.

“What is it?” I quickly asked.

There was hesitation in her eyes as if something was stopping her from telling it to me. I can see it. I could see how it weighed her and how troubled she was.

“My son, he's s—”

“Mom,” she paused as soon as we heard that voice. My eyes shifted at him who was on his way towards us. He was taking his big steps, clenching his jaw and crumpling his bare hands. His exquisite eyes were full of firmness and a wall that he built for 6 years that I was away.
