This day finally came. I received the request to enter the palace yesterday for a meeting with all the high ranking nobles together with Head Magus Dithran, Xander, and Lady Julia as representatives of the Tower of Magi.
Xavier and Lis had given me the heads up about this meeting a few days ago. I have been locking up in the laboratory with Xander trying to create an offensive spell that could defeat the dragon. We came up with a few of them but there is no dragon to test it on so we don't really know how effective it could be.

Since I am the strongest mage here, I'm tasked with fighting the dragon, in short, I'm acting as their tank. Xander and Sussie would be my support while Xavier and Lis would give directions to the army. Xander, Sussie, and I are tasked to hold the dragon in place while the army aims the new weapon to the dragon. What's the new weapon? It's a metal rod as big as a telephone pole. What's its purpose?
