Chapter Seventy
This day had finally arrived. The day I'm standing outside the dragon lair in the northern forest to kill the dragon. I still can't believe I'm doing this. Can you believe I'm doing this? I'm pretty sure my original aim was to survive and get married and live happily ever after but now, not only am I not getting married, I am going to kill a dragon or get killed by the dragon. Wow. Great. I want to run away.

Since I am the strongest mage here, I'm tasked with fighting the dragon, in short, I'm acting as their tank. Xander and Sussie would be my support while Xavier and Lis would give directions to the army. Xander, Sussie, and I are tasked to hold the dragon in place while the army aims the new weapon to the dragon. What's the new weapon? It's a metal rod as big as a telephone pole. What's its purpose?
